An endowment is a pool of assets invested to support the school's mission in perpetuity. Unlike annual gifts that are spent on receipt, an endowed gift keeps giving over time as the invested capital grows.
Kolbe Cathedral draws up to five percent of the endowment's return each year — a steady financial reserve for operating expenses and financial aid that links generations of the Cougar community together.
